Richmond, VA

Richmond is the capital of the state of Virginia and has a long history (by US standards!). It has many attractions, great restaurants, and (among other things) a great craft beer scene.

Richmond will be host to the 2015 World Cycling Championship, considered to be the 2nd most important event on the annual cycling calendar. This will be only the second time this event has been held in the U.S.

Richmond was a Frommers' Top 10 Places in the world to visit in 2014.
