(1) A block of single rooms with community baths has been reserved in the Honors College on campus at VCU. You will see this option on the Registration page. The Honors College is in walking distance of both the Academic Learning Commons, site of the talks, and Harris Hall, location of the Mathematics Department, computer lab, and meeting areas. The rate is $50/night.
For questions please contact Robbie Schnitzler, Conference Services Coordinator, at rjschnizler@vcu.edu, or (804) 828-4491 (office), or (804) 476-0069 (cell).

(2) Another block of rooms has been reserved at the downtown Crowne Plaza Hotel. This hotel is not in walking distance of campus. But there is a free shuttle that runs continuously and that will take you to campus. The hotel is conveniently located near the James River, and a number of fine downtown restaurants. The rate is $113/night. This includes breakfast.
In order to get this rate, ask for the VCU rate, mention the workshop and, if necessary, mention SUSIE at the Crowne Plaza who arranged our block of rooms.
Otherwise, please contact Michelle Carpenter, VCU Department of Mathematics, Assistant to the Chair at: mcarpenter4@vcu.edu. Her number is (804) 828-6295. She will make a reservation on your behalf.Â
